Master Plan delhi 2007:

Delhi master plan of 2007 has been launched on wednessday late night in Delhi India. The commercial activity in residential areas will not allow according to master plan delhi-2021 in more roads in the Capital. Planning Commissioner A.K.Jain said, we will allow the use of the entire ground floor and where the first and second floors are to be used strictly for residential use, after reviews, we found that there is a need to allow more area for commercial enterprises in places already identified for mixed land use. In the new Delhi Masterplan 2021, instead of the present 50 square meters cleared for commercial use on a property.
On the other hand, officials in the Delhi Development Authority’s Planning Department, which has finalised the average, say that restrictions will be relaxed for the 118 existing roads where mixed land use is already permitted. 7- february 2007

New Delhi: Planning for new hotels for travelers during Commonwealth Games delhi 2010 , the Uttar Pradesh Government will construct hotels around the National Capital Delhi, providing 5000 rooms out of the estimated requirement of 30,000 rooms required for the 2010 Games. Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Kawkab Hameed told reporters here that hotels would come up in Ghaziabad, NOIDA and Greater Noida, for which land would be provided at industrial rates.
