Jaipur
Also known as Pink city is the capital of Rajasthan. a century ago in
honour of a visiting Prince the city was given pink coat since then the
city retained this colour Maharaja Jai Singh A famous astronomer was the
founder of Jaipur 260 years ago. The renowned areas to be visited are
Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory and Ram Niwas Gardens, pink rose
residential and business areas. Other places which must be visited in

Amber Fort
Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. . Ply the Elephant to

Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors must be seen
Nargarh & Jaigarh
15 kms to the north-west of the city is The Nahargarh or Tiger fort,from
where you can have a spectacular view of the city. Once upon a time it
was the royal retreat for maharanis and was also a treasury. Jaigarh -
the fort of victory has the world's largest cannon on wheels. Its remarkable
water supply and storage system as well as the museum are worth seeing.
Sanganer
Sanganer is famous for its hand made paper and block-printed fabrics,
and is also known for its Jain Temples and carvings.

Abu
Famous
for its Temples. Dilwara Temples consisting of five Jain Temples, 11th
century onwards represent the climax in the art of decoration in stone
with intricate ornamental carvings and famous Shiva Temple in Achalgarh
Fort. A boat-ride on the placid water of Nakki Lake studded with little
islets is worth riding.
Ajmer

Dargah Sharif -The Tomb of the Sufi Saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, is
what first comes to the mind on hearing Ajmer. . During the 11th century
Chauhan ruler, Aiaipal founded the city. Other places to visit are Taragarh
Fort built by Prithiviraj Chauhan. A fabulous embankment built by Anjali
by the lovely lake Ana Sagar some 800 years ago and 500 years later Shahjahan
erected 5 beautiful marble pavilions
Bharatpur
One of the most spectacular water birds sanctuary is Keoladeo Ghana Bird
Sanctuary in Bharatpur features nesting indigenous water- birds as well
as migratory water birds and water side birds. It is populated by sambar,
chital, nilgai and boar as well. From October till December the sarus
cranes nest in the region of the lake, aboriginal water birds nest in
the acacia trees. From December on, the migratory birds, duck and cranes
are the main feature of the sanctuary.
Bikaner

Bikaner is situated in the northern part of Rajasthan. Founded by Raja
Rai Singh the city is surrounded by high walls and the old city is encircled
by a 7-km long wall, having 5 access. Bikaner is well-known for Camel
Safaris the place where one can get the best riding camels.
Gajner
Famous for Gajner Wild Life Game Sanctuary where you can see & take
pictures of Black Bucks, Wild Boars, Blue Bulls Chinkaras, and other animals
in large herds. Gajner Lake is surrounded by Palaces and in the winter
months you can enjoy watching and photographing Siberian Imperial Sand
Grouse which comes to the lake for drinking water in the mornings.
Bundi
The city is just like a beautiful landscape painted by a painter, narrow
gorge in rows of terraced gardens and domed houses. And the typical ancient
palace with its complex spy-holes, furtive trap doors and top secret under
ground passages. Spectacularly inventive water supply system is worth
watching.
Chittoragarh
Famous for its Fort of Chittor,(113 kms. from Udaipur, Built by powerful
Bhim, one of the Pandava heroes of Mahabharata) Nine storied Vijay Stambh,
( 37 mts high built in 1440 by Maharana Kumbha to memorialize his victory
over the muslim rulers of Malwa and Gujarat) and the Tower of fame, Kirti
Stambh 22 meters high covered with figures from Jain Pantheon.
Deeg
32 kms from Bharatpur, Deeg is famous for its immense fortifications surrounded
by flourishing gardens, woods and pools, palaces surrounded by gardens,
tanks and fountains of coloured water, richly carved columns, cornices
and eaves of the palaces. Marble swing in Gopal Bhavan, carried by a jat
warrior from Oudh to Deeg.
Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is a city of gilded magic situated in the heart of the Thar.
Probably the most beautiful evening of Rajisthan is there, as the sun
goes down, the sky is colored into red and golden flames and night starts
covering the whole city gently, as if a new monument is created every
evening.All different kinds of Havelis are there dating from 12th to 15th
century, though they all have exquisite carvings and filigreed work and
people still living in these ancient buildings.

JThe Desert National Park with an area of more than 3000 square kms is
a huge stretch of protected Bio-sphere Reserve. Other then the Great Indian
Bustard's breeding site and exotic wildlife you can see the Indian Gazel,
Chinkara, Eagles and many animals and birds.
Sam
Sand Dunes
You will enjoy visiting Sam Sand Dunes near Jaisalmer in jeeps. Take a
look at the ruins of some villages, while riding a camel in the desert
Jodhpur
It’s the second largest city of Rajasthan and is famous for the
Meharangarh Fort, Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal,Umaid Bhawan Palace, Girdikot
& Sardar Market. And never miss the beauty of Jaswant Thada, an imposing
Marble Memorium built in 1899.
Mandore
8 kms away from Jodhpur is the ancient capital of Marwar-Mandore. for
strategic reasons the city was abandoned. At the foot of the hills amidst
gardens, commemorative cenotaphs line the silent city. A place of worship
of reputedly 300 million Gods and contains the huge full-scale statues
of local deities and heroes.
Osian
Famous for the 8th century Sun temple with carved pillars supporting a
conical roof, and having an image of Durga in it. Exquisitely sculptured
figures of several Gods and elaborately engraved ceiling in a large assembly
hall of Sachiya Mata temple still reminds of the ancient time. The Mahavir
Jain temple stands on a wide terrace with a three-tiered roof and a `torana'
gateway.
Mandawa
Mandawa Town was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755 and is still the
home of his descendants. Museum in Mandawa houses a collection of armories,
costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic, collection
and many other fascinating items. Mandawa castle, now transformed into
a beautiful hotel is one of the finest castles of Rajasthan surrounded
by beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions.
Ramgarh
Situated 32 kms north-east of Jaipur is famous for its ruins of the old
fort, the temple of Jambwa Mata 32 and the huge artificial lake which
is filled in the rainy season and is a favorite spot of the locals.
Ranakpur
The Jain Temples built in the 15th century having 1444 pillars in a temple
and none of them are similar, situated 98 kms from Udaipur in the lovely
valley of the Aravali. The place is and. Ranakpur is scenic and quiet
and has grand structures and stunning sculpture with light and shade creating
a remarkable magic. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples glorify the beauty.
Ranthambore
National Park
Named after a 1000 year old fort, this is Rajasthan's first Project Tiger
reserve. It has a habitat for the grand sambar, the largest of all Asiatic
deer, Tigers, chital, wild boar and other animals. Woodland, ground and
water-birds adds to the beauty of the park together with the unusual red
jungle fowl and varieties of eagles. Water tank harbors marsh crocodile
and python.
Rohetgarh
Visit country side villages like Bishnoi Dhanis in a jeepand to enjoy
the traditional culture watch local craftsmen.
Samode
The old Palace of Samode, now converted to a hotel is 40 Kms north-west
of Jaipur. Its exotic hall is embroidered with paintings and mirror work.

Sariska
National Park
The second tiger reserve of Rajasthan holds dry deciduous forest. Its
dark thick forest makes its environment a perfect one for the tiger, leopard,
porcupine, rhesus, chowsingha, and langur.
Udaipur
Famous for its City palace, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir(Folk Art Museum)
and Jagdish Temple. Fatehsagar Lake and Sahelion ki bari (Queen's Resort
for Her Friends) are some of its unique attractions.
Boat
ride on Lake Pichola
Pichola Lake having an island palace Jag Niwas is 3 km broad and 4 km
long, and is surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, temples,bathing ghats
and embankments. This is an ideal lake to cruise on Boat.

Famous temple of Eklingji built of sand stone and marble during 734 A.D.
is enclosed by high wall and its complex contains 108 temples.
Nagda
Some of the most exquisitely carved temples of the Sas Bahu will take
